Reebok Introduces a More Eco-Friendly Classic Leather Made from Recycled Materials

Reebok is joining the push for more sustainability in footwear with their latest release of the Classic Leather. Launched in four new colorways, each pair features recycled materials throughout to make them more environmentally friendly.

The Reebok Classic has been a staple of the British brand’s arsenal since its introduction in 1983. Released in dozens of colorways, collaborations, and various materials over the years, the Classic has remained identical to its original form almost 40 years later. Now, Reebok is adding a new addition to their lineup, as well as making the Classic a bit more sustainable in its production. Four new colorways are now available, each featuring a leather and textile upper made from at least 50% recycled or repurposed materials. Mounted on plain white EVA midsoles, the look retains the same feel of the Classic Leather with two white-based colorways and two more eye-catching pairs in purple and electric blue.
