Drake’s NOCTA line with Nike has several signature models under their belt, but even more updated versions of Swoosh classics. Next year, they are adding to that list with their take on the Air Max Plus.
Nike’s Air Max Plus has been a popular model from the brand in the last two years. Originally introduced in 1998 as a FootLocker exclusive silhouette, the Tuned Air shoe became so popular internationally it has become a staple of the Air Max line. Last year in particular brought us plenty of OG and special releases for the shoe’s twenty-fifth anniversary, and has continued into 2024 with new release every few weeks.
This week, an interesting new take on the AM Plus has emerged, courtesy of Drake’s NOCTA line with Nike. Rumored to release sometime in Spring/Summer of 2025, the NOCAT version edits the shoe’s cage overlay with a few straight lines, and adds a beefier toe cap with their branding on it. Other new details include toggle lacing, and the NOCTA logo across the tongues.

NOCTA’s next take on a classic Nike silhouette, the Air Max Plus, has not been announced for release and is currently speculated to arrive sometime in 2025. Sample pairs in blue, white, and black may find their way onto shelves, but any further information is currently unknown.
