Nike Foamposite One “Soft Pearl” Releases Summer 2025

Nike is going big with the Foamposite this year, releasing a wide range of both new and classic colorways, like the “Dark Royal” pair next month. It appears they will retain the molded basketball shoe in their lineup for 2025, with a mockup for a new “Soft Pearl” look surfacing this week.

The Foamposite has been a beloved piece of sneaker since its introduction in 1997. At the time, the model was groundbreaking, introducing new construction methods, a remarkable price tag, and a whole new aesthetic for the rest of the late-’90s Swoosh performance footwear. They have continued to release the molded silhouette in the decades since, with new styles every few years.

This week, a fresh new look for the Foamposite has surfaced, though the only image available is just a speculative mockup. This pair comes in a “Soft Pearl” look, which will likely materialize as an off-white or ivory tone for the shoe’s molded plastic outer shell. The shoe’s neoprene and mesh inner layers come in white, while the carbon fiber midfoot piece adds a bit of darker neutral colors.

The new color scheme is only seen as a mockup for now, but sports a cream white shade for the molded upper with white textiles pieces.
