Nike has always done a great job of honing in on something specific to a country or region and creating a wonderful ode to it through sneakers. This month, the Swoosh is paying homage to German convenience stores, known throughout the country as spätis. These stores carry everything from milk to and eggs to candy and bread, essentially making them the German equivalent of a New York City bodega. For this limited edition themed release, Nike has chosen the Epic React Flyknit 2 as a canvas, starting off with a triple black color scheme for the sleek runner. The medial sides feature a tiny red Swoosh on the medial side, while a much larger grey version is found on the inner sides.
