In 2017, Nike released a “What The” Dunk Low for the Co.JP line, mashing up all the colorways from the OG ‘Be True to Your School’ pack. Now, that pair is coming in a global release this Fall 2024 season.
Nike’s Concept of Japan line originally premiered back in 1999. Fresh off the relaunch of the Dunk the year prior, Nike was looking to expand the global brand of the Dunk, releasing the Japan-exclusive “Ultraman” colorway, which is set to return this Summer. Now, another Co.JP pair is rumored to get a retro release this year, 2017’s “What The” style. The look mashed up several Dunk colors from the original ‘Be True to Your School’ pack in 1986, across left and right shoes. The right features the St. Johns, Kentucky, and Michigan color blocking, while the right shoe is split between Syracuse, Michigan, and St. Johns.
