While the Dunk has always been an essential piece of sneaker history and culture, Nike held the model pretty close to their chest over the years, utilizing the shoe for infrequent retros and special releases. Then, they flooded the market with the beloved shoe, making it one of their essential lifestyle offerings of this decade. Now, new colors often come with a special twist, whether its materials or additional details to give each pair a unique edge.
This week, a new premium look for the Dunk Low has found its way online, with a release expected sometime in Fall. The pair uses high-end materials for the new look, with a mix of leather and twill textiles for its base layer, both of which come in an off-white shade. The pigskin suede overlays come in a soft “Celestial Gold” brown tone, while a dark navy shade makes up the inner linings and outsoles.
