Nike continues to expand their Space Hippie collection with yet another new silhouette joining the sustainable series. The Nike Cortez Basics is up next and is set to feature an “Iron Grey” recycled design.
The Nike Cortez is one of the most classic silhouettes from Nike’s vast arsenal of great sneakers. Now in 2020, the past meets the future with the Cortez releasing in a recycled design which is part of Nike’s ever so growing sustainable series. Arriving in Iron Grey, White, and Barely Volt, the entire upper is covered in an Iron Grey texturized upper. White detailing is then added in on the Nike Swoosh, heels, laces, and sockliner, adding much-needed contrast from the darker upper. The recycled motifs finally shine on the tongue and midsole while the usual Cortez outsole finishing off the new recycled design.
