Just coming off the recent success of the “Habanero Red” iteration that released last week and sold out quickly, Nike adds another fresh colorway to the retro-runner. Originally released in the ’90s the Air Max2 Light is taking on 2019 in full force and shows no signs of stopping.
For this edition the vintage styled runner takes on an eye-pleasing colorway of Habanero Red, Armory Navy, and Radiant Emerald, it is definitely ready to take on the warm summer months that are quickly approaching. White mesh and suede feel the toe and tongue but color is quickly painted on the rest of the sneaker. Teal and Navy edgy overlays cover the toe, midfoot, and heel while red makes up the midfoot color blocking. A pastel yellow Nike Swoosh is allowed to stand out as it makes up the branding on the medial and lateral portion of the model. Pastel purple then catches the eye ever so slightly as it makes up branding on the tongue and laces.
