Nike’s Air Max 95 has seen a massive increase in releases this year, with new colorways spanning the entire color wheel. This week, the Swoosh unveiled a neutral color scheme sporting ‘Fish Scale’-inspired graphics.
Nike’s Air Max sneakers have been immensely popular since their introduction in the ’80s, originating as running shoes before being adopted as lifestyle models as the technology aged. While the Swoosh continues to introduce new models to the franchise on a near yearly basis, the classic are still some of the most beloved styles, especially the pairs designed and released in the 1990s. This week, the Air Max 95 dons another new color scheme, adding to the long list of styles that have surfaced so far this year. Featuring an upper that begins in neutral grey tones before fading to black along the lower portions of the shoe, Nike has added a new ‘Fish Scale’ graphic to the heel counters and outsoles, continuing their animal-themed releases that we’ve seen recently.
