Nike is rolling out more new colorways of the classic Air Max 1 in 2025, including some new shades colors for their catalog. This week, we have an early look at a fresh “Psychic Blue” style, coming in Spring.
Nike’s original visible Air sneaker, the Air Max 1, has historically been a special model rolled out for limited-edition releases and collaborations. That changed in 2020 with the return of the icon in a wide release, dropping globally in new colors on a regular basis. This is the same pattern the Swoosh took with the Dunk, and both models have been readily available ever since.
This week, new colors of the Air Max 1 for the new year began to pop up online, giving us a look at what to expect from Nike in 2025. Among them was this “Psychic Blue” pair of the classic runner, which premieres a new shade of blue for the brand. The look mixes light blue mesh and suede for the upper, with a dark royal shade for the leather Swooshes and mudguards. Small hints of orange appear on the eyelets, Nike branding, and Air bags to complete the look.

Nike’s next colorway of their classic Air Max 1 has not been given a set release date yet, but is expected to arrive in Spring 2025. Dressed in “Psychic Blue” suede with orange accents, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $140.
