Nike’s Air Force 1 has been an essential piece of the brand’s catalog since its introduction in 1982. While the brand went all out with the iconic silhouette a few years back, they’ve slowed releases to focus on other silhouettes. This week, a new pair in “Vintage Coral” has surfaced, coming this Fall.
The Air Force 1 was originally built for the basketball court, but has since become synonymous with lifestyle and sneaker culture. The white on white and black on black pairs will forever be essential pieces of sneaker lore, but Nike has released many other legendary color schemes of the low-top version in its forty-plus year history. This week, we have an early look at a new style in “Vintage Coral”, which will release alongside a matching pair of the Dunk Low with the same palette.
This new look for the Air Force gives the shoe some serious Air Jordan 1 energy, thanks to its “Red Toe” style color blocking. The look begins with a plain white leather for its base, adding the coral tone to the leather toe box, as well as suede Swooshes and heel tabs. Black leather makes up the eyestays and heel counter panels, while a sail midsole completes the look. Just to mix things up a bit, the tongue textiles have been swapped out for a pure white ripstop for some extra durability.
NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW “VINTAGE CORAL” RELEASE INFORMATION
Nike’s latest pair of the Air Force 1 Low has not been officially announced for release yet, but is currently rumored to drop on October 1st, 2024. Dressed in a “Vintage Coral” red with black and white, this pair matches a similar Dunk Low release, and will likely drop alongside each other.
