New Balance continues to roll out excellent new color schemes for their 991v2 Made in UK model. After some lovely brown & green shades last month, we have an early look at a new “After Midnight” navy blue pair, coming soon.
The New Balance 99x family has grown exponentially since the 990 was first released in 1982. Over the years, the Boston brand has continued the numbered series all the way up to 999, even doubling back to create new version updates on some of the original models. The latest of these is the 991v2, which debuted late last year in several collaborations before a series of excellent in-line releases this year.
The 991v2 from New Balance is another shoe that is strictly produced through their Made in UK program. Manufactured in England, these pairs feature a higher level of attention to detail in their construction, and more high end materials. The latest style for the version 2 update comes in “After Midnight” navy blue, with a sepia-tinted mesh base layer and accents to complete the look.
