New Balance’s 990v4 silhouette has been a main model for the brand this year, frequently highlighting the Made in USA collections. This season, the 2016 runner returns with a soft new “Macadamia Nut” color scheme.
The 990v4 from New Balance was a smash hit when it debuted back in 2016. The model is the fourth iteration of their iconic 990 running shoe from 1982, and transitioned the line from the chunkier v3 to a more streamlined look. The shoe is having another excellent run this year, returning to the Made in USA line for fresh seasonal colors, as well as small projects here and there with Aimé Leon Dore.
This week, a simple new color scheme for the v4 popped up online, with a release already expected for next week. The “Macadamia Nut” look comes in a near monotone shade of cream white or tan across its mesh and leather upper, paired with a pale green shade for the midsoles to complete the look.
