New Balance’s 990 series is all the rage right now, with the release of Teddy Santis’ rang of colorways slowly rolling out. This week, we have a surprise release of a new standard-issue 990v3 in ‘Raw Amethyst’, coming soon.
The New Balance 990v3 has quietly risen to be one of the brand’s most popular silhouettes over the last year. Featured in a number of exciting collaborations including projects from Levi’s, JoeFreshGoods, Kith, and most recently, Teddy Santis, the retro running shoe is still seeing some love from NB on the in-line colorways front. This week, we have our first look at a new ‘Raw Amethyst’ theme that surfaced on release calendars overseas. The new look begins with a dark navy mesh base, adding mid layers in perforated grey suede. The shoe’s overlays are added in the namesake ‘Raw Amethyst’ faded purple suede, while orange branding completes the look.

New Balance’s next new colorway of the classic 990v3 Made in USA has been scheduled to release overseas next week, on July 15th, 2022. Dressed ‘Raw Amethyst’ and dark navy blue, this pair is set to drop from retailers like Asphalt Gold in full family sizes.
