This season, New Balance rolled out their 740v2 for a fresh retro release. Originally a performance runner from the late ’00s, new styles are coming in 2025, including this eccentric “Multi-Color” pair in March.
The New Balance 740 is the latest sneaker in a long line of popular archival releases for the Boston brand. The model made its debut in a collaboration with Aminé this Fall, before their first few releases of in-line colors have landed over the past few months. Most recently, Concepts delivered their excellent olive & orange colorway of the runner, and now we have an early look at more new styles coming in 2025.
This week brings us official imagery of an extremely colorful style of the 740v2 for Spring 2025. Expected to arrive in March, the “Multi-Color” look mixes some vibrant shades for this wild new look. The mesh base comes in a lush purple shade, while accent colors are added in lime green, neon orange, electric blue, with just splashes of metallic silver and black to round out the look.
