Becoming one of the most popular silhouettes on the sneaker market, New Balance will be supplying the 550 demand with an impressive Triple Black makeover.
Much like Nike’s Dunk Low and adidas’ Forum Low, New Balance has found their hit among the surge of demand for retro low-top sneakers with their 550 silhouettes. Originally released in 1989 and designed by Stephen Smith, the sneaker has found itself among the top-performing sneakers on the market thanks to a handful of releases in the last couple of months in great colorways. Already slated for a handful of collaborations in 2022, New Balance will also be rolling out GR takes of the silhouette that will also get some attention like this Triple Black makeover.
Featuring an almost fully leather design the sneaker is also decked out in mesh that features an all-black makeover. The New Balance “N” is included on the sides while “550” is added to the toes along with the NB logo on the heels in a dark grey, the only lighter shade that’s used on the variation. A dark EVA midsole and a black outsole finish off the design.
