New Balance is gearing up to debut a new model this year, called the 2010. The silhouette calls back to performance shoes of that era, and our first look is at a dark brown and grey color scheme, coming soon.
New Balance’s rise to popularity over the last several years has been a welcome surprise, as their comfortable sneakers draw on over 100 years of design history. The Boston brand has revived a number of older models along the way, as well as introducing new styles that are built upon their decades of footwear knowledge. This week, another one of these retro-inspired designs has surfaced, coming this year.
The 2010 from New Balance appears to be a new silhouette from the brand that started with arch support inserts over a hundred years ago. The model is a callback to their performance footwear of that era, and brings 2010s style with modern day materials and styling. Our first look at the shoe is in a dark brown color scheme, which features a tan mesh underlay, dark grey mid layers, and a suede outer layer. The midsole features some swooping liens and Abzorb cushioning, with a hint of muted green at the heels.
