Marvel and adidas are back with another footwear and apparel capsule based on some iconic characters. This time, the two are celebrating the release of Deadpool & Wolverine later this month, and have cooked up a pair of the Rivalry Low silhouette for each hero, alongside some comic-inspired t-shirts.
Marvel and adidas have been pumping out some exciting collaborations over the last few years, teaming up to turn some of the comic companies iconic characters into sneakers. Late last year, the two released three silhouettes in tandem with the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on the PS5, but have kept their heads down since then. Now, the MCU is gearing up for the remarkably hyped-up third installment of the Deadpool franchise, and the character’s first movie as an official part of the MCU. Teaming up with Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine in this outing, the two are getting their own footwear counterparts as well.
Deadpool and Wolverine have long been known as “frenemies” in the Marvel Comics canon. Appropriately, they are each getting a pair of the adidas Rivalry Low for this collaboration. Deadpool’s pair covers the shoe in a black and red color scheme, with a removable brown pouch on the tongue, as seen on his utility belt (thanks, Rob Liefeld). Wolverine’s pair is decked out in his classic yellow and blue look, with his claws making up the shoe’s Three Stripes.
Additionally, adidas has teased the release of a third sneaker in the pack, stating that the shoe is worn in the movie, and will be revealed when the film lands on screens on July 26th.

The latest project from Marvel Studios and adidas has been scheduled to release soon, on August 1st, 2024, just after Deadpool & Wolverine releases in theaters. Both pairs of the Rivalry Low will be available from adidas’ Confirmed app, with an expected price tag of $120 each.
