Based in Finland, Marimekko Oyj is a company that focuses on home furnishings, textiles, and fashion and is now set to use their reach to the sneaker community with their very own adidas Ultra Boost.
Such an unconventional collaboration but with adidas, the brand has made it one of their qualities to include collaborations to their lineups that attract new eyes to the sneaker industry, and with this Marimekko Ultra Boost, that looks to be exactly what they will do. Set for a Core Black and White offering, the upper features a Räsymatto dot print that calls for black dots across the white primeknit upper. A semi-translucent lace cage is added in black while displaying white Three Stripes branding. To finish off the classic variation, a white rubber midsole and black Continental outsole are placed at the bottoms.
