Virgil Abloh is just settling in at Louis Vuitton but his prescence has felt like it has been there a decade. We just got a look at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2020 lineup and one thing stood out above the rest. Take a look at the upcoming “Transparent” LV 408 Trainer.
Although Fall/Winter 2019 is just starting, we already are getting leaks for Spring/Summer 2020 across all of the fashion industry. This weekend Louis Vuitton unveiled their Men’s Pre-Spring/Summer 2020 presentation in Singapore and showcased what was next from the designer brand. As Virgil Abloh is the artistic director of LV’s men’s wear collection, the street-wear genius has added a new trendy look to his rather new 408 Trainer.
Inspired by retro basketball sneakers, Abloh added a luxury take to a hardwood look. As his shoes were a success before when they were debuted, this pair looks to take on all the smoke as it’s ready to be showcased as art, used as a performance shoe and also used as a trendy dressed up sneaker you can pair with a special outfit. It really can take on it all. Arriving with a transparent upper, the shoe arrives in a futuristic style and a technical look. With subtle Louis Vuitton branding placed throughout and a translucent midsole and outsole, these will definitely turn heads wherever you go.
LV 408 TRAINER “TRANSPARENT” RELEASE INFORMATION
You can expect a pretty hefty price-tag as the past 408 Trainers’ saw prices as high as $1,600. Since this is a new take these may very well be higher so we will have to wait and see how much these will cost closer to time. They are expected to arrive in Spring/Summer 2020 and will be found on Louis Vuitton’s website and retailers. Stay tuned to JustFreshKicks as we will update you on any more information when applicable. For now, enjoy these great shots of the sneaker below.
