JJJJound is reuniting with Asics this season for a new sneaker release, two years after their collaboration dropped in August of 2022. This time, they have crafted two colors of the GT-2160, coming soon.
JJJJound has been one of the most consistent names on the collaborative sneaker scene since their first foray into footwear in 2017. The Canadian apparel brand has racked up a wide range of projects with Vans, Reebok, New Balance, and now Asics, with whom their first release came back in 2022. The new partners released two pairs of the GEL-Kayano 14, and now, they have a new project on the way for later in 2024.
The next release from Montreal’s JJJJound and Japanese footwear brand Asics has not been officially announced yet, but JJJJ shared some early photos that give us a full look at two pairs of the GT-2160. The first look pits the shoe in a whit mesh base with black and shades of grey for its overlays, adding just a hint of neon green to complete the look. The second style is much darker, dressing the base in all black with grey accents.

JJJJound has teased their next project with Asics, preparing two different colorways of their GT-2160 runner. No release window has been shared yet, but pairs will likely arrive sometime before the end of 2024, available exclusively through the JJJJ website.
