Despite the severe allegations, including violations of contracts with sneaker companies, James Whitner and The Whitaker Group remained fully cooperative throughout the process. Importantly, neither Whitner nor his businesses were charged with any crimes, and the investigation ultimately resulted in a decision not to prosecute, citing a lack of sufficient admissible evidence.
