The Internation Space Station (ISS) x adidas Ultra Boost 2020 collaboration is something we never really expected yet here we are. The two look to introduce the new silhouette together which honestly is the perfect way to get the updated shoe recognized.
While yesterday we learned that adidas was sending Boost technology to space on a mission to create new innovated technology, we didn’t know that four new colorways of the Ultra Boost 2020 will be released alongside it. It appears that the collaboration will be the debut of the new silhouette which honestly sets it on the right path for success. Although the Ultra Boost is not as in-demand like it once was, 2019 saw a change in many with new iterations like the Ultra Boost 19 and S&L. adidas is up to something for next year and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the UB.
Arriving with four different color variants, Boost Heads definitely have options. Three take on the same look while they each feature a black, grey and navy primeknit upper while tonal heel clips and midfoot lace cages are added in. While the upper is kept lowkey, the Boost midsole is where the fun is as an iridescent color paints the coveted technology in a shimmery blue/purple. The final colorway is the vibrant one of the bunch as it’s bathed in bright orange all throughout and features iridescent accents on its lace cage and heel clip to provide the same look as the other three while the usual Boost midsole makes up the bottoms. Double branded tongues and insoles all finish off the space-themed design. Each edition takes on its designated colorway rather well and a collaboration with the ISS makes them that much better.
ISS X ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 2020 RELEASE INFORMATION
The ISS x adidas Ultra Boost 2020 will launch sometime next year, most likely at the beginning of the year. They will be available at select retailers and adidas.com for an unknown retail price as of yet.
