Former Yeezy designer Dingyun Zhang is becoming a more common name in the world of sneakers. After a few projects with adidas this year, the designer is debuting a signature model with Crocs, the Diffuser, arriving next week.
Dingyun Zhang has become a semi-frequent collaborator with adidas this year, releasing a few colors of his take on the Samba, as well as introducing the new Kouza silhouette. The former Yeezy designer is becoming a for-hire name similar to Salehe Bembury, especially with the announcement of his team up with Crocs. Taking his expertise used in designing the YZY Foam Runner, Zhang’s Crocs Diffuser releases next week.
The new Diffuser model from Crocs and Dingyun Zhang expands on the clog brand’s growing emphasis on variety in their catalog. The iconic brand has gotten much more adventurous in the past few years, and the Diffuser appears to be their take on the more stylish, streetwear foam clogs akin to the Foam Runner. For its debut, the Diffuser comes in a plain white colorways, and sports a slim shape with simple straps on the heels, over the midfoot, and a breathable perforated toe.

Dingyun Zhang’s debut release with Crocs, his first silhouette with the brand, is scheduled to release next week, on December 12th, 2024. Dubbed the Diffuser, the futuristic take on a slip-on clog comes in white, and will be available from Zhang’s website via raffle and Crocs’ website for $85.
