This Summer, adidas started to tease a new addition to their AdiZero family of performance runners. Dubbed the Azuku, the sleek new model is set to debut later this year, including one CNCPTS-exclusive color scheme.
adidas has been working steadily on their AdiZero family of running shoes over the last few years, using the performance models as the main platform for their innovations in cushioning. This year, the Three Stripes has been teasing a new model called the Azuku, which incorporates a new SwirlFoam ultralight midsole with a simple, seamless upper, coming soon.
The Aruku appears to be an interesting cross between performance and lifestyle from adidas. While all signs point to an athletic shoe, special-edition pairs from atmos and now CNCPTS have surfaced, indicating a turn into the lifestyle market. CNCPTS design appeared this week, and colors the shoe in a black & grey upper, adding red gradient stripes on either side for a flash of color.
CNCPTS X ADIDAS ARUKU RELEASE INFORMATION
The upcoming new colorway of the adidas Aruku has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to drop sometime later in 2024. Teased by @arab_lincoln on Instagram as a potential CNCPTS exclusive release, pairs will be available through their website and retail stores. No price is currently known.
