Carhartt’s Work in Progress sub-label has announced a debut partnership with New Balance, crafting a line of streetwear-inspired apparel alongside a fresh colorway of the Made in USA 990v1.
Carhartt and New Balance have announced a new partnership this week, marking the debut collaboration between the two American brands. Featuring the workwear giant’s Work in Progress (WIP) sub-label, the two have teamed up for an expansive apparel and accessories collection, though the star of the show is the Made in USA 990v1. Sticking to their collective USA roots, the look is inspired by classic Carhartt workwear, beginning with a steel grey mesh base layer, and adding lush navy blue suede overlays to the outside. The ‘N’ logos come in white with a metallic silver outline, while a light taupe shade makes up the inner lining, heel clips, and outsole. Finally, co-branded tongue tags complete the look.
