BAPE and adidas are back this month to rework another Three Stripes silhouette with the Japanese apparel brand’s signature shooting star logo. This time, the Orketro tech runner from 2022 gets the honor, and will arrive in three unique colorways.
BAPE and adidas have a collaborative relationship that spans multiple decades, teaming up dozens of times over the last twenty-one years. Their first project came in 2003, applying a signature Ape camo to the Superstar, which has been iterated on a number of times since. This week, we have an early look at their latest project, which turns away from iconic Three Stripes silhouettes in favor of something newer; the Orketro.
The adidas Orketro made its debut back in 2022, and borrowed from adidas history of technical performance runners to create a fierce looking lifestyle model. The shoe has flown under the radar since then, but BAPE is pulling it back into the spotlight for this release, which removes the usual three stripes along the toe box and replaces them with the shooting star logo. Three colors are on the way, a simple black & white, a maroon and purple combo, and finally a bright blue, green, and yellow style.
BAPE X ADIDAS ORKETRO PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest release from BAPE and adidas is currently expected to release next week, on November 15th, 2024. Featuring the Orketro, a retro tech runner released in 2022, the black, purple, and blue pairs with the BAPE shooting star will be available from both partners, as well as select retailers, likely for $160.
