Awake NY released their first collaboration with Jordan Brand early this year, dropping their limited-edition Air Ship back in March. Now, with a second “Game Royal” colorway still locked and loaded, the pair is finally set to arrive in November 2024.
Angelo Baque’s Awake NY label has had a number of high profile sneaker collaborations over the last few years. Back in 2019 they debuted a partnership with Asics with an immensely popular GEL-Kayano 360 project, and followed up with several more colorful releases from Asics, Vans, and Reebok. Then, in late 2023, they shared a look at a friends & family pair of the Jordan Air Ship in a mismatched color scheme before releasing their red pair in March of this year.
Since March, we have been eagerly awaiting the release of their second Air Ship style, this time in its “Game Royal” color scheme. Splitting the mismatched look in to two releases, this pair sports the same details as the first, including snakeskin collars, an Awake ‘A’ logo on the vamp, and premium leather construction.
