Nike’s annual Doernbecher collection is around the corner, and this week we finally got a look at one of the most anticipated silhouette’s from the collection, the Air Jordan 6, returning to the series for the first time.
Each year, Nike releases a new Doernbecher collection. The series began in 2024, and allows children receiving treatment at the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital the chance to design their own sneakers, with proceeds being donated to the hospital. The unveiling of this year’s collection is right around the corner, but we have an early look at the Air Jordan 6 from this year’s project.
The original Air Jordan 6 from the Doernbecher series is one of the most iconic and sought-after models in the program’s twenty-year history. This year, the model returns for a new look, making some fun adjustments to the iconic sneaker. This year’s pair feature a light pink leather base, with off-white overlays an accents in a soft minty green shade. The shoe’s signature perforations have been replaced with hearts to complete the look.
