The Air Jordan 1 High “Xuanwu” is Limited to 3,399 Pairs

Nike is slowly rolling out this year’s Lunar New Year project, focused on the Year of the Snake. This week, Jordan unveiled their ultra-limited release for the occasion, the China-exclusive “Xuanwu” Air Jordan 1 High.

Nike and Jordan Brand have leaned into their annual Lunar New Year collections in recent years, diving deeper into Asian cultural elements to inspire their new designs. Each year, aside from the global releases, they create one ultra-limited, and incredibly detailed sneaker to release exclusively in Asia, like last year’s dragon-inspired AF1. This week, we finally have eyes on the 2025 release, featuring the Air Jordan 1 High.

This year’s high-end Lunar New Year release gives the Air Jordan 1 High an intricate makeover in a “Xuanwu” theme. Translating to ‘dark warrior’, the pair features a white leather base with black and gold snakeskin toes. The heel counters and Swooshes come in a molded, patterned design in orange and black, which gives it the appearance of burning hot coals.
