Air Jordan is beginning a venture into the massive world of football. First leaked in the form of an Air Jordan 5 with Paris Saint-Germain branding, another silhouette has appeared with the French logos: the Air Jordan 1 High.
Jordan Brand is not playing around this year. With a new strategy to limit releases and bring more heat to consumers. We already know that the number of Jordan 1 releases will stretch into the 30’s, and now we have a good look at what could be one of the most exclusive releases of the year. The Air Jordan 1 High “PSG” is a new addition to the brand’s coming tribute to legendary football club Paris Saint-Germain.
Earlier this year, a leaked Air Jordan 5 revealed the new collaboration between Jordan and PSG. Both pairs feature similar materials and colors, with the 1 taking on a slightly more simple look and feel. The entire upper on this Air Jordan 1 appears to be made from soft nubuck or another smooth leather. Next, the signature Swoosh and Air Jordan Wings logo are cut from rough tumbled leather to add a slight sheen to the matte upper. Finally, the Air Jordan 1 “PSG” is completed by subtle Paris Saint-Germain branding on the tongue and insole, as well as the club’s colors in small stripes on the midsole.
