The adidas ZX 8000 has carved out a place for itself in their regular lineup, after an extended period of time in the brand’s archives. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Ice Mint’ pair, coming soon.
adidas has finally brought the classic ZX 8000 runner into their lifestyle fold over the last few years, after several decades of keeping the shoe in their extensive vault. Revived in the late 2010s as part of a retro series of ZX sneakers, the 8K was the most popular, sticking around to this day with regular seasonal releases. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Ice Mint’ colorway of the model, alongside the ‘Sky Tint‘ pair that also surfaced in recent days. The new look begins with a white mesh base layer, adding cream mid layers to the midfoot and toe box, with pale blue suede overlays on top. Hints of pink appear on the laces, inner lining, and heel counter, while the signature Three Stripes come in two tone teal and pink.

adidas’ latest colorway of the fan-favorite ZX 8000 silhouette has not yet been announced for release, but they are expected to hit shelves sometime in the Spring of 2022. The “Ice mint” color scheme will be available from both adidas’ website and select retailers for $120.
