adidas is celebrating ten years of the now-iconic Ultraboost silhouette this year, and the brand has some fun new colors available to celebrate. This week, a new “Warm Vanilla” style has surfaced, coming soon.
The adidas Ultraboost originally debuted in 2015, as the brand’s premier new running shoe. The model was one of the early silhouettes to incorporate Boost into its design, following in the lead of the PureBoost, the model worn by Kanye that helped the line skyrocket to popularity. While they have iterated on the Ultra silhouette a number of times, the original 1.0 style is still the fan-favorite, and is releasing in new colorways to celebrate its anniversary.
This week has brought us an early look at one of the new styles coming this Summer for the UltraBoost 1.0. The new look sports a “Warm Vanilla” shade of pale yellow across the entirety of its Primeknit upper. Layered on top, the signature TPU cage and heel cup of the shoe come in a similar off-white tone, with the Boost sole dyed to match and paired with a gum outsole. The final piece is metallic gold stripes and tongue tags to complete the look.
