This past Spring, adidas launched the Mad IIInfinity, the latest in their growing lineup of lifestyle shoes inspired by retro basketball designs. After a long break, the shoe returns in a “Mocha” colorway in early November.
Over the last few years, adidas has revamped the Crazy line. The franchise was originally the signature models for Kobe Bryant, before he parted ways with the Three Stripes for Nike. After that, the line was renamed Crazy, and continued to grow and add more performance ball shoes in the ensuing years. Now, adidas has repurposed those models as lifestyle sneakers, reengineering and recrafting silhouettes for the modern day, currently going by the title IIInfinity.
After its debut this Spring, the new Mad IIInfinity has had few releases. The newest member of their basketball-inspired line, the shoe features a build very similar to the early Kobe signatures, with a unique toe box never seen in sneakers. This week, the shoe has appeared in a fresh colorway for Fall, dressing up the model in a clean palette of “Mocha” brown tones.

adidas’ next release of their new Mad IIInfinity silhouette has been scheduled to arrive soon, on November 1st, 2024. One of the few releases since the model’s debut in Spring, the new “Mocha” brown color scheme will be available from the brand as well as select retailers for $180.
