The adidas AE1, the first signature shoe for Timberwolves’ guard Anthony Edwards, is one of the greatest basketball shoes in recent memory. Heralded for both its performance and effortless off-court style, the shoe is racking up Sneaker of the Year list spots this season, and still has new colorways on the way for 2025. This week, we have an early look at a new pair expected to arrive sometime near the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in February.
The adidas AE2 has started to surface in early photos over the last few months, but Edwards and the Three Stripes are not done with their first edition quite yet. This week, a new pair in a celebratory “Champagne” gold has surfaced, expected to arrive fittingly around All-Star Weekend in February. The pair sports a glossy soft gold color for its unique cage element, with black mesh and bright blue branding to complete the look.
ADIDAS AE1 LOW “CHAMPAGNE” RELEASE INFORMATION
The next colorway of Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 Low has not been announced for release yet, but is expected to arrive sometime in February 2025, around the NBA’s All-Star Weekend. Dressed in black mesh a glossy champagne gold cage, pairs will be available from the Three Stripes and select retailers for $110.
