Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE 1 already has a wide range of colors releasing this season. Now, we have a look at it later in the year, with this “MX Charcoal” pair coming in July 2024.
The adidas AE 1, the first signature shoe for Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards, has been a hit so far. Debuted in December 2023, the silhouette has dropped in a small assortment of colors. Several more are expected to arrive this season, including the “MX Grey,” “Mural,” and “Stormtrooper” styles. This week, we have an official look at a new release, remixing the shoe in “MX Charcoal” for August 2024. The MX style originally came in the form of the Yeezy Foam RNR, using a marbled effect for the molded silhouette. For this AE 1, the model gets a simple black mesh layer for its base, adding a grey and black marbled outer shield for the upper. The heel counters come with a carbon fiber print, adding white Three Stripes logos to complete the look.

Featuring a black textile base with marbled molded overlays, pairs will be available from both adidas and select retailers for $120.
