Nike SB has been on a hot streak of late, between the highly-anticipated Jordan 1 releases, collaborations with brands like Parra, and excellent releases from team riders. The latest project falls into the latter, as Ishod Wair gives his take on the SB Bruin ISO.
Ishod’s take on the SB Bruin ISO divides the shoe down the middle, giving it an asymmetrical construction. The lateral sides of each shoe are constructed from a smooth suede material, with stitching used to to indicate where the overlays would regularly go. At the toe box, the suede meets a loos 3D mesh that takes over the medial side of shoe, even splitting the tongue down the middle between mesh and exposed foam. The central joining of the two materials is covered up by Nike SB branded webbing, while tiny embroidered Swooshes adorn either side of the shoe.
ISHOD WAIR X NIKE SB BRUIN ISO RELEASE INFORMATION
Ishod Wair’s latest project with Nike SB, focusing on the Bruin ISO, is scheduled to release later this week, on August 31st, 2019. The asymmetrical construction of the sneaker will likely raise the price point by a few dollars from both Nike and select SB skate shops, though this information has not yet been released.
