Asics’ 14th edition of their GEL-Kayano running shoe family originally launched in 2008, before fading into their archives as running technology continued to evolve. The model was returned to their arsenal in 2021, launching a string of new colors and collaborations that have continued into 2024. This week, a new “Metallic Blue” pair has surfaced for this Summer, giving the model a shimmering new look. The pair begins with a cream white mesh base layer, adding the midfoot overlays in a chrome silver finish. The toes and heel utilize the metallic blue hue, adding similar accents to the shoe’s branding, and an off-white and navy blue midsole underfoot.

Asics’ latest new style for the GEL-Kayano 14 has not been announced for release, and is expected to arrive sometime in Summer 2024. The “Metallic Blue” look with silver and white will be available from the brand’s website and select retailers, likely with a price tag of $150.
