The ‘Conversations Amongst Us’ series has brought us a number of exciting New Balance shoes from the mind of Joe FreshGoods, and the project is set to continue this Summer with a new all-white take on the 574.
Back in April, JoeFreshGoods and New Balance announced the ‘Conversations Amongst Us’ series, which sees the Chicago designer teaming up with NB’s Black Soles, an all-Black collective of New Balance associates, to tell stories based in the Black American experience. The releases began with the 550 and 2002R, two of the brand’s most popular silhouettes at the moment. Now, the third entry in the project has surfaced online, which comes in the form of the classic NB model, the 574. Similar to their previous entries, the 574 features a premium all-leather construction, which comes in shades of white from toe to heel. The underlays of this pair are slightly aged to give them an off-white tinge, while a clear plastic piece at the collar adds something new to the design. The insoles and heels feature the Conversations Amongst Us branding, while the New Balance ‘N’ logo is added in metallic silver.

The next release in JoeFreshGoods’ ‘Conversations Among Us’ New Balance series, the 574, has not yet been announced for release, though we are expecting them to drop sometime in Summer 2022. Dressed in shades of off-white and accented with clear plastic, this premium pair will likely be available from New Balance & select retailers with a price tag of at least $150.
