Anthony Edwards shoes are arguably the most popular signature shoe of 2024. With his likable personality and on-court play, the adidas AE 1 — Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe with adidas — is the most sought after basketball shoe on the market. The adidas AE1 features a BOOST cushioning unit above a rubber outsole. The Generative Support Wing operates at both the lateral and medial sidewalls for full-length lockdown containment.
The AE1 first debuted in late 2023 with December’s “With Love” edition. However, most of the shoe’s colorways have landed in 2024, including instant sell-outs like the “Best of Adi” & “All-Star” editions. In the Timberwolves’ playoff series against the Phoenix Suns, Edwards debuted a low-cut version of his signature that appeared in spades throughout the rest of the year. Both the Low and the original Mid will continue releasing throughout 2025, beginning with the AE1 Low “Year of the Snake.”
