Nike Air Force 1 Low “All-Star” Is Inspired By The Diverse Neighborhoods Of Chicago

With All-Star landing in Chicago this year, Nike’s participation seems to be at an all-time high, remarking on history by way of their many Jordan Brand activations while honoring the city itself with a few of its inline staples. While basketball stars Kyrie Irving and KD are poised to celebrate in a more performance facet, the Air Force 1‘s seen here target a more lifestyle audience. A two-part variety, the pack arrives informed by the diverse neighborhoods found throughout the sprawling metropolis, highlighting this variety visually through a deep assortment of camo and reptile prints. Snakeskin outfits the toe box, traditional camo seats just around, while the rest of the kit extends backwards in every notable variation of the pattern: grid on the heel wrap, tiger on the profile base, raindrop on the tongue, and desert ops just below the ankle. What’s more, a subtle leopard print seats the swoosh, arriving in monochrome along both options, though its surroundings swap out for bright greens on what is likely to be the more limited of the range. Grab a look at both offerings here and expect a release to go live later this February during All-Star.
