Donovan Mitchell’s adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 Surfaces In “Red/Black/White”

Following an extensive build-up consisting of an All-Star Weekend unveiling and on-court debut during the NBA Playoffs, Donovan Mitchell’s sixth signature shoe, the adidas D.O.N. Issue #6, officially launches July 5th. A week after the “Camp” rollout colorway hits shelves, a clean red/white/black pair is now set to drop on July 12th.

In speaking to Mitchell about his latest signature shoe back in June, we learned that sleek colorways that look good on and off the court are a focal point for the D.O.N. Issue #6. Presented here in a balanced yet flashy mix, you’d be hard pressed to find a more fitting design to be part of the model’s first few introductory pairs; especially given the “Spida-Man” association that goes hand-in-hand with any red or blue Donovan Mitchell shoe.

The full-length mesh cage and ancillary structures that surround it come coated in red, as does the radial-patterned outsole. A black, carbon fiber mid-foot plate is matched by an all-black tongue, collar, and lining, while a small piece of metallic silver runs between the top and bottom portions of the upper, separating them while adding a bit of flair. Keeping things simple, the Lightstrike Pro midsole presents in white for an agreeable finish.

As mentioned, the adidas D.O.N. Issue #6 “Red/Black/White” drops July 12th for $120 in men’s sizing. See detailed images of the shoes below and turn to our “Where To Buy” section for shopping links upon the release.
