JENNIE Of Blackpink Debuts The CLOT x adidas Gazelle

A chic aesthetic overhauls the terrace classic.

JENNIE Of Blackpink Debuts The CLOT x adidas Gazelle

CLOT broke up with Nike and formed a new partnership with adidas Originals last year, marking a huge shift for the renowned sneaker industry player.

The Hong Kong imprint released its inaugural Three Stripes collaboration in spring by way of two adidas Superstar colorways, also hopping on other adidas collabs as a third party throughout the course of 2024 thus far. In this latest CLOT x adidas installment, the Hong Kong label marries the adidas Gazelle with chic streetwear design language, enlisting South Korean singer and rapper JENNIE of Blackpink for the rollout campaign.

Much like the aforementioned CLOT x adidas Superstar, Edison Chen’s imprint delivers a complete overhaul of the Gazelle’s original tooling. Starting from the bottom, the first thing that stands out is a refined, espadrille outsole. Hemp welting complements a thin slice of rubber tread underfoot, producing an entirely new aesthetic on the terrace classic. On the upper, you’re hit with an all-textile base in “Halo Ivory” with contrasting “Cloud White” stripes near the quarter, with suede present on the toe box, eyelet strips, and heel. Rounding out the overarching theme, thick rope laces appear up top.

The CLOT x adidas Gazelle ($160) releases Friday, June 14th at 10:00 AM EST via the adidas CONFIRMED App. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming adidas drops.
