Raekwon and Ghostface Killah Debut Ronnie Fieg’s adidas x Clarks Wallabee Collection

You’d be hard-pressed to find a more striking clash of footwear aesthetics than Ronnie Fieg’s latest adidas x Clarks collection. For Clarks’ 200th anniversary, the Kith founder has taken the upper of the brand’s iconic Wallabee silhouette and paired it with adidas’ patented Ultraboost and 4D sole units.

A total of six shoes make up the collection, including Wallabee Mids in Black and Maple, and Wallabee Lows in Black, Maple, Dark Grey Suede, and Scarab. Raekwon and Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan — two longtime Clarks Wallabee ambassadors and a big part of why the model caught on in NYC in the ’90s — serve as the faces of the campaign.

The collection boldly clashes footwear from two entirely different eras and genres — the Wallabee debuting in 1967, and Ultraboost and 4D rising to prominence in the mid-2010s, a near five-decade separation. Whether it lands visually is a different conversation entirely, but we’re confident these are a good deal more comfortable than your classic Clarks crepe sole.

Drawings for all six shoes open today, October 24th, and close October 26th. Limited quantities will also be available as part of Kith’s Monday Program offering on October 27th, dropping at 11:00 AM EST online and at select Kith shops. See detailed images of the collection below if you’re considering copping.
