This Star-Studded Air Force 1 Is Reminiscent Of This 2006 All-Star Gem

Complete with star cutouts and custom lace dubraes.

This Star-Studded Air Force 1 Is Reminiscent Of This 2006 All-Star Gem

There’s no more important “holiday” in the sneaker world than NBA All-Star weekend; a time rife with signature shoe unveilings and more festivities celebrating sneaker culture’s heart and soul. In 2006, Nike marked the occasion with a red, white, and blue Air Force 1 featuring star graphics. Now nearly two decades later, this upcoming GR remembers that release with stars in all the same places.

The former “All-Star” Air Force 1 was truly reminiscent of its time; a pattern leather style akin to that of myriad BAPE-like releases in the 2000s. This 2025 pair features star cutouts as opposed to painted white graphics, organized in different sizes across the toe/heel overlays. Other than that, the rest of the design is all new. Light blue suede and “White/University Blue” leather comprises the upper, joined by leather tongue tags and star-shaped lace dubraes for added premium-ness. Underfoot, a white midsole and icy blue gum outsole round out the delivery.

Given the timing of this unveiling as well as the absence of All-Star Game branding, it’s safe to say these probably aren’t tied to the annual East vs. West matchup. We’re currently expecting a Fall 2025 release in men’s sizes; see official images below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.

Sticking with the model at hand, check out the Kobe Bryant Air Force 1 “Frobe” dropping June 24th.
