Andrew Rizzo Coinciding with the rise of the genre as a whole, Latin trap has all of sudden made significant inroads in the sneaker world. Jordan Brand has J Balvin, adidas has Bad Bunny, and as of 2022, Reebok has Anuel AA. The Puerto Rican megastar is now reprising his Reebok partnership with two new sneakers on June 20th; the ERS World and BB 4000 II Mid.
Dubbed the “Sport Love” collection, both sneakers take on the same general design formula. Black, white, and orange colorways are applied to each model, complemented by metallic silver detailing and branded callouts. The BB 4000 II – a retro hoops model originally released in 1989 – stands out with “Pedazo de mi corazón” embroidery and a hidden Puerto Rican flag. The ERS World runner is more tame by comparison, with a flaming corazón on the heel standing as the main highlight.
The two sneakers are accompanied by a mini apparel spread, including and graphic hoodie and long-sleeve tee featuring matching metallic silver prints.
Anuel AA’s “Sport Love” Reebok collection releases June 20th via reebok.com and select retailers. The BB 4000 II will be available in adult sizes for $100, while the ERS World will be available for adults and kids ($120/$70). See official images of the sneakers below if you’re moved to cop.
