Satou Sabally Shows Off “Unicorn” adidas DON Issue 6 PE

Another milestone in a strong season for the star.

Satou Sabally Shows Off “Unicorn” adidas DON Issue 6 PE

Even before a minute of actual basketball was played, the Phoenix Mercury entered the 2025 season knowing full well they were embarking on a new chapter. Losing the GOAT in Diana Taurasi and a franchise icon in her own right in Brittney Griner will do that to a franchise. Despite a heavy makeover, the Arizona franchise remains squarely in contention, in no small part due to Satou Sabally, the “Unicorn” small forward imported from Dallas in the off-season.

As her stellar play continues, adidas is taking the opportunity to celebrate one of their newest signees in the W, surprising the two-time All-Star with her first PE, delivered with the adidas DON Issue 6. The two top notes, signaling her “Unicorn” moniker derived from her one-of-one comb of size and skillset and the Mercury-approved purple palette are easy enough to explain.

However, there’s a myriad of more personalized touches that help push this PE into the upper echleon. First up are messages Sabally recieved from the late Kobe Bryant emblazoned on the interior of each tongue, echoing “Zero Fear” and “Epic Things.” The names of her brothers plant on the rear midsole, while her signature, logo, and number take up the outsole, insole, and pull-tabs respectively. Finally, the packaging includes one final flourish: some words of affirmation from the adidas Basketball Team.

Though more than likely this pair will remain locked away in Satou Sabally’s personal collection, this adidas DON Issue 6 PE is still plenty dazzling to take in from afar. Catch some in-hand images and shots of the moment when the Mercury star recieved the shoe included below.
