Salomon doesn’t rely on collaborations to the extent brands like Nike and adidas do, but we’re continuing to see the French sports brand broaden its partner rolodex. After playing a role in past campaigns, Colombian singer/songwriter Feid is gearing up to release his first official project in the very near future. In building anticipation, the music megastar broke out the sneaker for his performance at NYC’s Governer’s Ball music festival this weekend.
The XT-Pathway is the model of choice; a comparable yet less expensive alternative to Sportstyle cuts like the Salomon XT-6 and XT-4. If you know Feid, the sneaker’s green colorway should hardly come as a surprise. Feid loves the color green and incorporates it into essentially everything he touches, including his album covers, merch, stage designs, and now Salomon collaborations. He’s drawn to the color for multiple reasons, previously remarking that green symbolizes hope, his hometown of Medellín, and of course, money.
Three different shades land on the Feid x XT-Pathway, with a dark midsole, bright overlays, and lime-colored base comprising a true eye-catcher. Text for the sneaker’s “FXXOMOR” nickname runs along the tongue, bordered by another tag featuring a custom cartoon graphic.
Feid’s Salomon XT-Pathway “FXXOMOR” doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as that changes. General release XT-Pathway colorways go for $130, but the Feid collab will likely see a minor markup. Enjoy detailed images below and stay tuned for further updates.
