“Vintage Indigo” Seeps Into The New Balance 990v6

The final puzzle piece in an upcoming pack drop.

“Vintage Indigo” Seeps Into The New Balance 990v6

Following the unexpected reveal of the New Balance 990v6 “Community Red” and New Balance 990v6 “Clay Ash,” another colorway bearing the same hallmarks is entering the fray to make it a trio. The New Balance 990v6 “Vintage Indigo” is now surfacing via early in-hand shots, set to hit the public for the Fall 2025 shopping season.

Comparing the three pairs, you’ll easily be able to spot the uniting characteristics, a reliance on darkened midsoles and grey mesh layers at the base, each shoe splitting off into its own direction for the suede mudguard and eye-stays. The “Vintage Indigo” 990v6 edition at hand almost registers as the midground option between its two peers, wearing a similar desaturated tonality to the “Clay Ash” yet still embracing a primary tint the same way the “Community Red” does. Regardless of how you think this colorway stacks up in the crowd, the novel color-blocking scheme makes them a standout all the same.

Based on how these shots came about in the first place, expect the New Balance 990v6 “Vintage Indigo” to begin trickling out to retailers in the coming weeks. An official NewBalance.com launch date shouldn’t be too far off, either. Keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach for the latest — be ready for a $200 retail price once these hit shelves.
