KITH’s relationship with ASICS has a strong argument for being the NYC imprint’s most significant and treasured, a legacy that stretches back to the halcyon days of the GEL-LYTE III and GEL-LYTE V makeups helped make KITH a household name in sneakers. Their partnership has remained rock solid from that suede runner era into the Japanese brand’s current techy tear, with the most visible recent flare-up their three-way link-up that brought Marvel’s heroes and villains to life on that same throwback stable.
Hot off the heels of Sneaker News uncovering their next chapter, we’re now getting more breadcrumb indications of what the two have in store. The KITH x ASICS Summer 2025 collection, initially leaked indirectly via eBay listings, now steps into the light with the help of Tyler Mansour (@arab_lincoln).
Spanning six distinct pairs, the capsule begins in a natural spot, with the brand’s tacit signature, the ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1, heavily utilized for the Madison Square Garden collection and subsequent products. Fieg and Co. stick to a more run-of-the-mill script with the two colorways on tap, blending up techy combos of “Tornado/Pure Silver” and “Peat/Cream.” From there, the GEL-NImbus 10.1 takes to opposing “Black/Pure Silver” and “White/Pure Silver” palettes. The closing third encapsulates two silhouettes that don’t get nearly as much burn in the collaborative space, the GEL-Nunobiki and Jog 100S, sporting naturalistic “Delicioso” and “Espresso” primary hues.
As revealed in that earlier piece, each shoe here closes with co-branded KITH/ASICS tongues and insoles, with the lattermost pairs sporting checkered counterparts. Interestingly, early reports suggest that the collection is/was available in-store at the brand’s newly-reopened Lafayette location — it’s unclear whether pairs are still up for grabs or the tacit release was tied to that ribbon cutting ceremony. As of this writing, release information for the KITH ASICS Summer 2025 capsule is unclear, but keep this page and our Sneaker Release Dates page close by to be the first to know when those details come about.
